Wan Chai HarbourChill Waterfront Recreation Station|Water Supplies Department holds a large-scale outdoor event "Saving Water" Carnival - a three-meter-high water drop crystal ball and Water Save Dave are waiting for you to check in!
Description
The Water Department will hold a "Know and Save Water" carnival at HarborChill Waterfront Recreation Station in Wanchai from December 5 to 15. The theme of the carnival is "A Future Without Water - Starts with You" and aims to remind the public to save water and jointly create a future without water through a series of fun and fun activities.
Activity Introduction
● 3 meters high giant water drop crystal ball, walk in to "check in" souvenir
● The house of Drip Cherish Children gathers together to take pictures, and there are several augmented reality animated stories to share home water cherishing tips
● Learning-rich water-saving workshops, participating in water filter experiments and making unique Drip Cherry ornaments
● Enjoy interactive games and complete designated tasks to receive limited Drip Cherry themed gifts
● Children of all ages should not miss collecting sparkling drops and water saving tip cards
● Drip Cherish” meet-and-greet – “Drip Cherry” appears at specific times to interact and take photos with the public.

Water is a precious natural resource. We should all develop good habits of saving water. To put your words into action, you might as well take a photo with the "Future Without Water Starts with You" covenant at the entrance.
3-meter-high giant water drop crystal ball
The most eye-catching feature of the carnival is the 3-meter-high giant water drop crystal ball, which makes you feel like you are immersed in the underwater world.Water Save Dave holds up a huge droplet with one hand and welcomes everyone to come and take a photo. They jointly promise to "cherish the droplets and realize a better life".

The house is open to the public for the first time. Scan the QR code of the household items with your mobile phone to enjoy several augmented reality animation stories Learn all the good habits of saving water and receive themed gifts, full of surprises and learning meaning!
Water saving full Fun workshop
Adults and children can participate in water-saving workshops during the event, including water filter making, water drop wind chimes and drop cherish keychain DIY. Participants will use endless creativity to create water-saving ornaments that are both beautiful and learning significance. Each workshop was provided with an in-depth introduction to the production methods, water saving knowledge and related scientific principles by professional instructors.

Water filter making
Clean drinking water is not readily available. This workshop will allow children and adults to make their own water filters and learn the principles of drinking water cleansing by understanding the filtration procedure to remove contaminants from the water.
Water drop wind chime DIY
Make water drop-shaped wind chimes and add water-saving words according to personal preference. Hang them at home as a beautiful decoration and remind yourself and your family to save water at all times.
Water Save Dave Keychain DIY
Paint the exquisitely shaped, cute-faced Dip Xi with bright colors to create a one-of-a-kind keychain with metal accessories for hanging on your keys or daily bag. Each shape represents a water-saving trick, reminding everyone and those around them to use water with caution.
Interactive games
Saving water is not only a code of life, it can also be fun! During the event, the carnival will grandly present a number of interactive games that will test participants’ physical fitness, body rhythm and water saving knowledge in all aspects. Complete designated tasks to earn points to redeem rich themed gifts. Don't miss out for smart, brave and active water-saving experts!
"Secret Water Search"
The nation transformed into a "water-saving searcher" to distinguish good water-using behavior within a time limit and accumulate enough points to pass the border, testing everyone's understanding of correct water-using habits.
"Little Plumber"
Where there is a leak, it needs to be repaired immediately! Check the water pipe for leaks with Drip Cherry and complete the maintenance work within the specified time to clear the customs.
"Water Type Personality Test"
In line with the personality test boom that has taken Hong Kong by storm, this test will analyze your water habits to find your potential "water personality"!
"The Master of Cherishing Water"
Referring to the popular Japanese rhythm game, the first "Water Cherish Master" taiko challenge is launched. Participants need to beat the drums at the correct rhythm to the music of the theme song "The Future Without Water Starts with You" and accumulate enough points to pass.
"Water habits against bumps."
The key to saving water is to develop good habits of using water correctly. Participants were required to identify water-saving tips in the wash basin (wave pool) within a time limit and match the corresponding water-wasting behavior.
"Reduce waste you need to know"
Take action and practice water saving! By swinging your body and moving the bucket in the TV, you can distinguish the water drop pattern representing your water-saving habits within a time limit and catch it to score points.
"The Battle of Water Saving and Defense"
Lack of water resources is a severe test facing the world. We will transform into water-saving little soldiers and use hand-eye coordination to escort the ball to the finish line, away from the desert and achieve a future without water shortage!
The meeting of Water Save Dave's son
The popular mascot Water Save Dave, who has always been a favorite, will tour the carnival during the event. He will also hold a fan club to take photos with everyone.
